How is the concept of citizenship understood in our constitutional system?

Explore this foundational question as we discuss the significance of Supreme Court case Korematsu v. United States, its legacy, and its importance today. This presentation will provide background on the case along with insights as to why the court ruled the way it did, revealing both historical and contemporary impacts on the “citizenship question.” This program will be the first event in our Boundaries of Belonging series on citizenship and the Constitutional imagination.
